| Hey, | We're just three weeks away from the most important election of our lifetimes. The corporate media — which everyone knows by now is a front for Kamala Harris — had a really bad week. | CBS: The Biggest Loser | The biggest loser of the week was CBS. Its flagship show, 60 Minutes, aired an interview with Kamala Harris. It was a bad interview for Harris, so when CBS released the teaser, they edited her response to a critical question to make it sound more coherent. | Kamala was asked about Benjamin Netanyahu's decision-making. | Her actual response: | Well, Bill, (very awkward pause) the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region |
| But CBS didn't air that. Instead, they aired this: | We are not gonna stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end. |
| People were outraged at the deceptive editing. CBS then refused to release a full transcript, as they did with their 2020 interview with Trump. | But it doesn't stop there. CBS also formally banned employees from saying that Jerusalem is located in Israel. Where else would it be? | Then came the infamous interview with anti-Israel, pro-DEI commentator Ta-Nehisi Coates. CBS journalist Tony Dokoupil challenged Coates and asked why his book ignored the violence Israel faces from terrorists and its neighbors. | This led to an internal meltdown. CBS declared the interview didn't meet their editorial standards, and some CBS staffers reportedly said that "Israel's existence should be part of a fair conversation." They were upset that Dokoupil challenged the anti-Israel narrative. | The staff was also upset because the interview questions weren't reviewed by CBS's Race and Culture unit, which monitors content to fit within a progressive worldview. The company even brought in a "DEI strategist and trauma trainer" to help calm the staff revolt. | If you thought the progressive or 'woke' takeover of media was over — it is still alive and thriving. | The New York Times: Honorable Mention | The New York Times claimed there wasn't a gang takeover of some apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado. Yet, in the same article, they acknowledged video evidence showing migrant gangs with weapons walking around those same complexes. | They also ran a podcast segment explaining Kamala's foreign policy. Nearly half of the questions were answered with something like, "Well, we don't really know because Harris hasn't specified her views." So they just guessed what she believes. | Now that polls are moving toward Trump, the Times is telling voters to ignore them. | And all the other corporate media outlets? They're blaming the recent hurricanes in Florida — which happen regularly — on climate change. We'll debunk this in the coming week. | Who's next? | I started Upward News when I realized corporate media controls elections and, in moments like the BLM riots, even fuels the destruction of cities. They don't just report the news — they shape what people believe and how they vote. | Their mission is to control, not inform. | We're fighting back. Our goal is to keep you informed when the mainstream media hides the truth. But we're a small team up against billion-dollar media empires. | We can't do this without you. | If you believe in independent journalism that refuses to sell out, we need your support. | Join us for 25% off our annual membership today.
