Dear Ministry Friends, Fear is the big story in the world today. From Halloween to Elections to Hurricanes - fear is everywhere. More than ever, kids need God to transform their fear into faith. That's the idea behind our "Fear" lesson from the Emotions series. I want this message to get to as many kids as possible, so I'm sending it out as a free download today. Here are the lesson details: - Bible Story: Elijah's Encounter with God (1 Kings 19)
- Emotions Highlighted: Fear, Loneliness, Hope
- Main Idea: God is always with us, even in our darkest moments.
- Gospel Connection: God provided hope and comfort to Elijah, and He provides us eternal hope through Jesus. In our darkest moments, we can find hope and salvation in Jesus, who is always with us.
Emotions can be confusing for kids. Because sin has mixed things up, we need Jesus to take our fear and use it to help us trust Him more. I'm praying God will bring fruit to your ministry in this season of fear. Thanks again for serving God's kids! Tony Kummer, The Sunday School Store | | | | |
