Hey man,

Back in 2022 we got a pretty nice little offer for the biz.

And when I say nice, I mean they said it could be a number followed by 6 zeros.   Presumably they meant US $ and not Zimbabwean.  

Anyway, me and my business partner Danny had a talk over a cold one…and came to the conclusion the answer was no. It meant giving up at least 90% of the business, having boss's, and being beholden to a large soul sucking venture capitalist firm.

The idea was to take our company and merge it with a big Youtuber. If you've seen what's happened to Hoonigan, Donut, and others in the space you'll get the idea

Now, I won't say there aren't days when the mortgage goes out or the credit card bill arrives that I don't think about what sort of really really super d̶e̶p̶r̶a̶v̶e̶d̶ charitable things I could have done with that money.

But…the main reason we said no was because we thought we had a lot more to accomplish. The care care space is sooooo….f'ing dull.

And fair enough, washing your car is a bit boring but why do you have to be a beer or energy company to do fun stuff? So, we decided that we were going to make great simple products for your car - but that they were going to be fun and memorable, that we were going to take risks and we were going to try some dumb ideas.

So if you're wondering why our new ceramic coating has a sinister gold goats head cap, or our Tire Cleaner is called Rim Reaper, then blame it on at least trying fun dumb stuff that made us smile.
