Tea for a Cause 🏳️‍🌈

Dearest One,

I hope this email finds you well. I'm reaching out with a heartfelt initiative that's very close to our hearts here at Magic Hour.

 

Today, June 14th-June 15th 10% of sales from any Gemstone Tea purchase will be donated to the Trevor Project, a wonderful organization that provides vital support to LGBTQ+ youth.


The Trevor Project is especially meaningful to us because of the personal connections we have to the community. 

As a mother who has seen her LGBTQ child face significant bullying recently from the parents of other children her age, I have been heartbroken to see that it's not only kids that can sometimes bully other kids, but also grown ups who are only loving until they find out a child is different. And while I wholeheartedly believe everyone has a right to their own beliefs, I do know the fallout and devastation to those exiled from long term friendships and community can be deeply hard on the mental health of children, I have seen it first hand.

 

The Trevor Project is a safe place for those children to get the acceptance, love and support so they don't end up going toward self harm, addiction or abuse.

 

There is a world where all children and adults are free to live and love as their souls choose, and that's a world I'm betting on and praying for.

We want to do everything we can to support those who need it most—those who have been rejected and exiled simply for being themselves. Not every situation ends well, the Trevor Project is there to help.

 

Every purchase you make not only brings the magic of tea into your life but also contributes to creating a safer, more accepting world for LGBTQ+ youth. Together, we can make a difference, one cup of tea at a time.
