Hey , Did you know that many kids' pajamas sold at big box stores are sprayed with fire retardant chemicals?   Holy Pals PJs are NOT SPRAYED WITH FIRE RETARDANTS OR HARSH CHEMICALS. Instead, we have chosen to create 100% cotton pajamas that are cut to be snug fitting, meeting safety standards without resorting to the use of harmful chemicals.   You might be curious about why our girls' nightgowns are 100% Polyester instead of 100% Cotton. Child safety regulations require polyester or fire retardant treatment for loose-fitting garments. While we prefer cotton, we chose polyester for our girls' nightgowns to meet safety standards without using harmful chemicals.   We receive lots of inquiries from parents about whether we use fire retardants in our garments, and our answer is NO! We believe in providing our children with clothing that is safe, comfortable, and free from unnecessary chemicals.
