Born from a beekeeper, a fermentation enthusiast, and a mutual love for honey, Vermont's Barr Hill Distillery crafts unique spirits with a cause β with bee conservation at its heart. |
From September 22nd to October 1st, they're buzzing about Bee's Knees Week: for every Bee's Knees cocktail photo shared on social media, they plant 10 square feet of bee habitat. |
Over the last three years? They've generated half a million square feet! |
With locations all over the country, consider sipping on a Barr Hill Bee's Knees cocktail, for a tasty sip and a great cause. πΈπ |

Rock legend Sammy Hagar, the iconic voice behind Van Halen and a successful spirit entrepreneur, is amplifying his repertoire with the debut of Red Rocker Lager. |
Brewed in the heart of Detroit at Brew Detroit facility, this Mexican-style lager boasts a unique medium body, offering a sweeter twist to the typical bitter notes. |
The lager, described by Hagar as his "go-to" beer, will soon grace stores in Michigan and be available online for fans nationwide. πΊβ‘ |

πΉ Cocktail of the Week |
Say hello to The Negroni.Β π |
Embrace the spirit of Italian aperitivo, as we toast all week long with Negroni Week, from September 18th to 24th! |
More than a celebration of this iconic cocktail, Negroni Week is a charitable initiative by Campari and Imbibe. |
This year, we're drinking for a cause, supporting the Slow Food movement which champions sustainability and nourishment. |
Originating from a bold request by Count Camillo Negroni in 1919, the Negroni has journeyed from Italy, won the heart of Orson Welles, and inspired variations worldwide! |
While filming in Rome, Welles famously remarked: "The bitters are excellent for your liver. The gin is bad for you. They balance each other out."Β π |
Whether you're a purist or an experimenter, here's to a week of balanced bitterness and iconic sips. |
Cheers! |
Ingredients for the Negroni: |
1 ounce gin, preferably Bombay Dry 1 ounce sweet vermouth, preferably Cinzano Rosso 1 ounce Campari
|
How to make it: |
In a mixing glass, combine all the liquid ingredients with ice. Stir until chilled, around 30 seconds. Strain the concoction into a rocks glass filled with ice. Add an orange twist to garnish. Sip and enjoy the bitter bliss!
|
Let's hear it one more time β Happy Negroni week!Β πΉπ§‘ |
